With the JTDHDEX1x4 you have the ability of not only splitting your source to 4 displays, but the capability to extend the distance from your source to your displays as well. Utilizing the JTDHDEX1x4 as a splitter/extender combo allows you to extend the distance from source to display up to 164 feet (50 meters), while also allowing you to connect a local monitor via the HDMI Loop Out on the transmitter unit. Control your source device such as a Blu-ray player Cable box or Apple TV from the location of your display with the IR pass-through function, and control your display from the location of your source device using the bi-directional capability of the IR pass-through for maximum convenience.
